The New Hampshire Retail Association is the first Association in New Hampshire to partner with Granite State College to offer professional development workshops tailored specifically for our member’s needs. Granite State College specializes in higher education for working adult students. Part of the state’s public university system, GSC offers top-ranked associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees and today, they are working directly with NH employers to create high-quality professional development workshops to enhance the skills and qualifications of the workforce.
Granite State College offers our members 10% off its portfolio of Professional Development workshops. Tailored to the retail sector, these classes are taught by knowledgeable regional experts in the field who can help enhance your team. Workshop topics include: communication, management and leadership, project management, or customer service and sales.
I really enjoyed the class entitled “Providing Extraordinary Customer Service” at Granite State College. In the Insurance Industry, customer service is what sets us apart from other Independent Agents, as well as direct writers of insurance. Carrie Gendreau provided excellent examples of the importance of the customer experience. She also engaged the class to be a part of the learning and discussion. In this way, we learned something from each other as well. I would definitely consider attending more business and professional development workshops at Granite State College. In their course descriptions, I have identified several that would meet my needs in Management as well as the needs of my staff in other areas of communication, team building and leadership. What a great resource!
